Story:

Fable 2 is the second game in the fable series by Lionhead Studios, it is an open world role-playing game. It has a simple story line where the hero needs to save Albion from the evil Lord Lucian by collecting together the other three heroes to defeat him. Interactive cut-scenes are a large part of the game however the main character never speaks and all dialogue is uncontrolled. The game features a large variety of game play and freedom, allowing a player to shape the world around and the characters appearance and moral standing based on decisions throughout the game. The player can also get married both same and opposite sex and bring up children to childhood but no farther, expressions are a lot more interactive with NPC's than before Show more

Fable 2 is what gaming is supposed to be. Just pure joy and fun. No min maxing. No super complicated story or mechanics, just something you can get lost in and forget about the real world with.

This game is what made me buy a xbox360 back in the day, and i have always wished that it got a PC release, Fable , Fable the Lost Chapters, and Fable III all got a PC releases, but not Fable II, I currently purchsed Fable the Lost Chapters, and Fable Anniversary, and Fable III, If Fable II gets a release, ill be sitting down and playhhing the entire series

I've played this game so much when i was younger. I even named my xbox username after one of the characters! I have been looking through the years for an opportunity to play it on pc so i can re-live this amazing game!!

While I did play this on console (and loved it) probably like 16-17 years ago now, It would greatly benefit from say I dunno higher resolution options and framerates.

The only Fable game to never come to PC, and that sucks, as it is the best game in the series. I hate playing it on Xbox at FPS when I know it could shine so much more with a real PC port. Please, GOG, make it happen.

Fable II is one of the games I've spent most of the time playing on consoles before I switched over to PC back in 2014. It's story and mechanics have stuck with me for a very long time and with it possibly coming to PC, it fill me with so much joy to be able to once again visit this version of Albion. I hope that this (along with Fable III) will one day be able to be playable on PC without the use of gamepass or emulation.

My first game on Xbox 360, I love it to death. I wish the entire series and the upcoming reboot to release on GOG and then I will retire in peace. Those games clicked hard.

E bem divertido, praticamente tudo que você faz muda o seu personagem. Da pra mudar uma parte da cidade inteira se você ajudar um criminoso ou um guarda da cidade, tem muitas magias e até que bastante coisa pra explorar. Cara esse jogo na época que tinha o 360 tava com um bug de travar a cada poucas horas então tinha que salvar toda hora,mesmo assim não afetou a experiência. Achei muito bom e foi porta de entrada pra mim ir atrás de outros RPGs de exploração e escolhas.

My first RPG, first game I really cared enough to finish, I loved the freedom, quests, humour, so much spent in this world on my Xbox... it would be good to save it not just as an old Xbox console exclusive but for everyone to be able to play it.

FreelancerEight hundred years prior to the start of our story, bitter conflict divided all of mankind. A handful of colonists struck out on their own to begin anew - far away from the Earth and its turmoil. Several ships were launched with enough equipment and supplies to give the hundreds onboard a fighting chance - but since the area around far-off Sirius had never been surveyed, no one really knew what to expect. What they found was a new frontier of free-flowing natural resources, unexplored territories, great wonders and lurking dangers. Each ship, representing the clusters of people and their earthly place of origin, settled into different parts of the galaxy pre-selected by their ship-board computer to give them the best chance of survival. Life was hard in the beginning, but over the 800 years the different colonies prospered and expanded their territories, claiming more and more systems for their own. Survival and propagation eventually led to growth and profit as each of the colonies developed specialties and fostered commerce. As the colonies grew and time passed their connections with their roots on Earth dwindled and they lost their memories of the conflicts of the past. Soon their attention was dominated by new, more immediate conflicts. Feelings of lost ancestral connection spurred anachronism in the look of the great cities, and created a somewhat distorted image of each colony's cultural heritage. In the ever-expanding outer edge of the territories, frontier lawlessness prevailed. The Houses: Each shipboard colony that left Earth carried some memory of its origins in its name. The Liberty carried Americans, The Bretonia flew from The United Kingdom and surrounding territory, The Kusari from Asia, and the Rheinland launched with Germanic cargo. As each ship settled and colonies began to expand, they knew little about each other and their advancing development. Finally, little by little, the individual colonies found each other and began to set up trade routes to link their systems for commerce and solidarity. Today, with each colony firmly rooted in its respective corner of the galaxy, the colonies rely heavily on each other for trade and industry but also compete for resources and new territories in the Border Worlds. The colonies mandate member governments in "The New Alliance" within the Sirius sector. To control conflicts, each colony has forged alliances and treaties with others as they have grown. Competition remains fierce, however. Struggles rage for supremacy in business, commerce, resources, power and control. There can be tenuous peace between colonies' political agendas, but the grabs for holdings constantly unsettle the volatile frontier.
