this was my first big open world game, it really ignited some fond memories, even though i played san andreas a lot more. since rockstar launched gta online everything else fell of, so i would like to have the option to buy the game without any DRM. so i actually own it after buying. i know, crazy concept.WallEx90

this was my first big open world game, it really ignited some fond memories, even though i played san andreas a lot more. since rockstar launched gta online everything else fell of, so i would like to have the option to buy the game without any DRM. so i actually own it after buying. i know, crazy concept.

Grand Theft Auto: Vice City is a game which is a classic masterpiece, the exploration has easy map design and it has 80s atmosphere, with that the musics of the game is lovable. Gameplay-wise the game is clunkier than Gta San Andreas but not nearly clunky as 3, LCS and VCS. Graphics-wise the game has highest quality texture but yet simpler lighting than in SA and that is only in pc version. Storywise the game has simple story, even though it is short and yet the plot is simple and interesting at the same time. The Voice Actors were just perfect for a classic game. And I had lots of childhood memories of this game, like using cheats to bring a tank and causing chaos or flying my cars until it the car explodes XD.

One of those games that could never be done again. Unmistakable vibes. Iykyk. I remember playing this game during an interesting time in my life. Those mayhem challenges were something else. This game holds up well to this day. The radio music probably sets up a licensing headache, but I think a lot of us would be okay with the sacrifice of the music as long as we get the game.

Growing up, GTA Vice City was my go-to game. The '80s vibes, open-world freedom, and crazy missions still bring back nostalgic feels. GOG, if you're listening, it'd be epic to see a DRM-free version of this classic! Let us relive the Vice City magic without restrictions

Vice City was the first GTA I ever played and still my favorite. So you can imagine my fury when I saw the “Demastered” version in 2021. It felt like the final nail in the coffin for the Rockstar I once admired. But back to the original: I loved everything about it—the 80's vibe, the neon streets, the unforgettable soundtrack (which, sadly, was gutted in the Definitive Edition), and all the nods to Scarface and Miami Vice. Pure nostalgia. If by some miracle GOG ever managed to bring back the original PC version, I’d be beyond grateful. That game deserves to be preserved the way it was meant to be played.

Vice City was the first GTA I played, it was the first open world game I played on my uncle's computer, it was something special, today I really want to play it again but I can't find the original from 2002 anywhere, I had many memories with this game.

I literally had every GTA since the OG on ps1. Before it was a thing we used to smoke out and see who could get the highest wanted level and last the longest. Even the top down camera like it was live news footage on KTLA, before they quit airing the police chases, shot from a news helicopter was new. Then I found out you could basically brake torque on pedestrians that you ran over and it would leave red burnouts for a min. Wow, good times. Oh yea, sorry...Vice City was the first GTA I actually beat the story and all the side missions. Tony Montana who...? Oh yea that Cubano who ended his campaign early, I almost forgot about him. They write novels, movies, and even songs about me, thats right, Tommy Versetti the name.

Playing GTA San Andreas was pure freedom. I’d ride bikes through Grove Street, climb Mount Chiliad, and skydive over the countryside. The gang wars, jetpacks, and customizing CJ made every moment unique. Cruising to Today Was a Good Day while causing chaos? Truly iconic gaming memories!

FreelancerEight hundred years prior to the start of our story, bitter conflict divided all of mankind. A handful of colonists struck out on their own to begin anew - far away from the Earth and its turmoil. Several ships were launched with enough equipment and supplies to give the hundreds onboard a fighting chance - but since the area around far-off Sirius had never been surveyed, no one really knew what to expect. What they found was a new frontier of free-flowing natural resources, unexplored territories, great wonders and lurking dangers. Each ship, representing the clusters of people and their earthly place of origin, settled into different parts of the galaxy pre-selected by their ship-board computer to give them the best chance of survival. Life was hard in the beginning, but over the 800 years the different colonies prospered and expanded their territories, claiming more and more systems for their own. Survival and propagation eventually led to growth and profit as each of the colonies developed specialties and fostered commerce. As the colonies grew and time passed their connections with their roots on Earth dwindled and they lost their memories of the conflicts of the past. Soon their attention was dominated by new, more immediate conflicts. Feelings of lost ancestral connection spurred anachronism in the look of the great cities, and created a somewhat distorted image of each colony's cultural heritage. In the ever-expanding outer edge of the territories, frontier lawlessness prevailed. The Houses: Each shipboard colony that left Earth carried some memory of its origins in its name. The Liberty carried Americans, The Bretonia flew from The United Kingdom and surrounding territory, The Kusari from Asia, and the Rheinland launched with Germanic cargo. As each ship settled and colonies began to expand, they knew little about each other and their advancing development. Finally, little by little, the individual colonies found each other and began to set up trade routes to link their systems for commerce and solidarity. Today, with each colony firmly rooted in its respective corner of the galaxy, the colonies rely heavily on each other for trade and industry but also compete for resources and new territories in the Border Worlds. The colonies mandate member governments in "The New Alliance" within the Sirius sector. To control conflicts, each colony has forged alliances and treaties with others as they have grown. Competition remains fierce, however. Struggles rage for supremacy in business, commerce, resources, power and control. There can be tenuous peace between colonies' political agendas, but the grabs for holdings constantly unsettle the volatile frontier.
