The Demo is already awesome. A HOH VErsion would be lovely to buy as if the game comes with heavy load eating DRM will stop me buying because i cant effort too expensive hardware just for a normal feeling GOG DRM games give.boredgerman

I've been playing HoMM and Might and Magic since I was a child, and spent a truly absurd number of hours messing around in map editor making my own HoMM maps. When GOG brought the whole collection over, I was so excited to have this piece of my childhood back. I was just replaying HoMM 3 with the Horn of the Abyss extras installed (thanks to GOG for making that easily available!) when the demo of Olden Era was released. It felt so natural switching between the games, I really think they've captured the magic of the early HoMM games that were central to my childhood gaming memories. While I'll buy it on Steam if that's the only platform available, I'd love to have it here on GOG with the rest of the collection where I know it will be properly maintained.

Our bases in Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Era are cities that we develop as we progress. They are presented in the form of picturesque panoramas, and by constructing various structures within them, we gain access to new units and upgrades. Since they are our command centers,

The latest version in a franchise I've played since it's beginning. But I'm currently unable to as I will never, ever use Steam again due to their treatment of me in the past!

Loved old HoMM games, but maybe it is time for something new. Give it a chance, there is large fan base out there. If you make it good, everyone will be happy....
As for this game, I'm entirely sure it will be coming to "GoG", it's a question of "When", not "If", I'm certain I just wanted to say that I'm incredibly happy to live in a world where a new, excellent (If the Demo is anything to go by) "HoMM" title will be releasing sooner rather than later! Between the brilliant "Songs of Conquest", as well as the "HoMM" series' enduring appeal and popularity, I think both "Olden Era", and other games in the "Strategy-Adventure" genre, have a bright future ahead of them! Even after all these Years on the market. This is the fourth ever "GoG Story" I shared.

My first purchase inside GOG was the Heroes of Might and Magic series bundle. I have been playing HOMM3 Complete Edition and have been loving it. I would like to have this game in my collection as well!

I'm anxious to get started on this expansion. (I don't have much time because I'm going blind.) So when will the voting end? It's been four months already...
as a much avid fan of the series and their first person counterpart might and magic 8 day of the destroyer whilst not made by 3do is faithfull to the original concept and can be a gateway into the older 3do titles
I love the HoMM franchise. I grew up with III and V, and still feel shivers at the loading screen. I haven't heard of this latest installment, but if it was available on GoG, I would buy it in a heartbeat. I resent being tied to a internet access and a user account, which is why I refuse to buy Ubisoft games unless they are available on this platform.
Those games also need your vote!
Black & White
Black & WhitePlay the role of a deity in a land where the surroundings are yours to shape and its people are yours to lord over. Be an evil, malevolent god and the natives will worship you with fear in their eyes. Play as a kind, benevolent god and they will worship you with love in their hearts. Your actions decide whether you create a heaven or hell for your worshipers. Then select a creature from the land to act as your representative in the world. Raise it to gigantic proportions and teach it to do your bidding--whether the animal grows into an evil colossus of mass destruction or a kind and gentle giant is up to you. Progress through the game's rich storyline performing powerful miracles to battle other deities and become the world's supreme god.

Black & White 2
Black & White 2In the game, the player takes the role of a god called from the void (nothingness) to help those who invoked them. However, the player is not an omnipotent style god, but rather a god who rises and falls with his believers and the player must help develop their nature according to their good or evil desires. The player also has a creature, their physical representation in the world, which takes the form of an anthropomorphic ape, lion, wolf, turtle, cow, or tiger. Its physical manifestation can grow to an immense size, and adopt a good or evil persona separate of the player's. They develop their character as the player rewards or punishes their actions. In addition to the god simulation and city-building elements introduced in the original Black & White, Black & White 2 also features elements of real-time strategy gameplay, with the addition of controllable warfare and fighting units.
