One of my best childhood AMIGA gaming memories! I've played with my younger brother and at the end of each day we wrote down the code the better player unlocked, so we could continue from that point the next day (there was no in-game saving back then!). Fastest bikes were challenging on the longest roads, we had to learn to use breaks sometimes. I remember the grind towards the best bike - I wanted it so much it became my gaming nickname for some time. The lovely music, funny interactions with other bikers and satisfaction from unlocking new bikes is something I would like to go back to.TetraQuark

I used to play this game every weekend with my little brother and dad on his old Sega Genesis. much fun was had and many cows and trees alike were crashed into .

I played this a couple of times in daycare as a child, and it really left an impression on me - probably the first "violent" game I ever played. I would love to be able to finally own this myself and relive the good old days before the pain of sentience.

"YEAH.. YEAH... YEAH... YEAH" Those immortal words when you won the race! This game was so much fun! I remember how awesome it was when someone you punched had a stick and you stole it off them. I remember how funny it was when you got hit by a car and came off your bike! Finally, I loved that all the other drivers like Biff and Natasha all looked exactly the same!

my first console was Mega Drive, I'm from Brazil. Road Rash 1 and 2 are so cool. The idea of real violence street racing was mind blowing for me. I really had a setimental envolviment with the NPCs bikers and their names lol.

I'm partial to the MD version, but any would do. Even with the likes of Road Redemption existing, the world needs more Road Rash. Between it and Destruction Derby 64, they were and still are my kind of racing game. A thrill where dirty tricks are not just allowed, but so satisfying to do. Nothing quite beats whipping another racer (or cop) with a chain at high speed and watching them get absolutely wrecked by oncoming traffic. It's a special joy, and far too few games provide it. Especially after the 90s

Get chased by police bike. Kick it into oncoming car. The officers fly into the air. 15 seconds later, they fall down into the mountains in the horizon. Probably 27 years ago, still remember it vividly.

I remember coming home from school and playing this on a battered old pc with my sister. This game was my early childhood. I always loved beating up cops and the wacky cartoon artstyle.

probably not the same as everyones talking about. But if gog got the PC port of the 3D0 Road Rash that had the grunge soundtrack Id be all over that! It had enhanced visuals like cutscenes. Better than ps1 port
