Warcraft II: Tides of Darkness is a Strategy video game published by Blizzard Entertainment released on 1995 for MS-DOS. Warcraft 2 is a successor of the popular Warcraft real-time strategy game. The game contains many improvements over the previous version in graphics, sounds and playability. The Multiplayer was also greatly improved allowing up to 8 players in the marvelous multiplayer skirmish.

I know there's a remastered version, but I want the original experience. And GoG is a great place to get this game, maybe the best. I first played the psx version and I loved it.

the old style graphics and the fights or humans against orcs without so many fat moving objects. Warcraft 1 and Warcraft two were my first two strategy games ever.

Warcraft II: Tides of Darkness was the game for me back then! I loved everything about it—the beautiful SVGA graphics, the design, the great voice acting, and the artwork in the manual. To this day, Warcraft II is still in my top 3 all-time favorites and one of the most important games to me. RTS is such a cool genre, but unfortunately there are no new AAA titles in this space anymore. That’s why it would be great and important to preserve this gem and make it available for everyone on GOG.

This is my childhood good memories, is what i need to play in my time off when i finish work it is so relaxing and its the first game i played when i was a kid. Great strategy, i am very sad because i could not buy in that time and now was ready to buy it and it is not available anymore. Please bring it back.

I was still on an Amiga 500. Then a friend showed me this game, and I bought it and a 486 that same week. Cross cabled our nics to play together in the same room if memory serves, I was new to it all back then. Spent a few hundred hours with this game I'm sure.

i watched my dad play this as a kid and when i got older i played it. im on windows now but hes on mac. blizzard doesnt have it available for his platform on battlenet . so it would be nice to bring it back here

Probably the first RTS I ever played, on the Playstation of all places. Couldn't have been much older than 4, but I still managed to get more than halfway through the Alliance campaign. Crying shame we had it on GOG just for them to get delisted, would love to see it come back someday.

Im lucky enough to buy the game before blizzard removed it, only to put the Remastered behind DRM. I wish they release the old games on GOG again to be preservered

Black & White 2In the game, the player takes the role of a god called from the void (nothingness) to help those who invoked them. However, the player is not an omnipotent style god, but rather a god who rises and falls with his believers and the player must help develop their nature according to their good or evil desires. The player also has a creature, their physical representation in the world, which takes the form of an anthropomorphic ape, lion, wolf, turtle, cow, or tiger. Its physical manifestation can grow to an immense size, and adopt a good or evil persona separate of the player's. They develop their character as the player rewards or punishes their actions. In addition to the god simulation and city-building elements introduced in the original Black & White, Black & White 2 also features elements of real-time strategy gameplay, with the addition of controllable warfare and fighting units.

The game follows the movies very closely and even got scenes from the films appear in game. Not only does the game contain a giant campaign where you play through the journey of the ring as the good side, the game also features an evil campaign where as the players play as the evil forces of Middle Earth. With multiple diffrent races from all over Middle Earth, a giant spell tree to customize your game and a unique basebuilding layout the game was great for its time.

Fable IIISet 50 years after the events of Fable II, the continent of Albion (where the Fable series is set) is under the control of Logan, a tyrant king and the Hero's older brother[1]. The player's character, the "Hero", is forced into a quest to become a revolutionary leader to defeat Logan after he reveals his true personality to the Hero. Over the course of the first half of the game, the Hero will overthrow Logan and become ruler of Albion themselves. During the second half of the game, a strange force from Aurora, called The Darkness will threaten Albion and the player has to decide how to react to it.
