ERBlank: As for this... I won't add it. GOG has much more goodies than Steam. If anything, it could be argued that it's Steam that is treated as a second class store compared to GOG in this case.
Not sure if I agree with that. The only thing that Steam may appear to lack at first glance are FLAC/WAV soundtrack files and some wallpapers... but Steam users get a "Cyberpunk 2077 Digital Goodies" library entry on GOG, where this exists lol. They get it by signing into the Red launcher.
(Not to be confused with "Cyberpunk 2077 Goodies Collection" or "Cyberpunk 2077 & Phantom Liberty Goodies Collection", which were GOG giveaways).
The only real difference is that GOG gets "Big City Dreams" comic, while Steam gets "2 AM-She Calls" short story. So Steam is on par with GOG. In fact, Steam gets the pre-order car lottery as a DLC, while GOG does not... not even in Galaxy's DLC selection. So that, arguably, puts the 2nd class treatment back on GOG. They could not even be bothered to make an installer or a Galaxy checkbox for that...
ERBlank: That said, I still agree that I can't agree with having any exclusivity between stores, and I think this should be on GOG too.
And this is why CDPR is infuriating me so much. They pretend to be super consumer-friendly and this lie sticks to regular people, but if you actually start paying attention, or are a collector, you start noticing how CDPR is Nintnedo-level greedy.
They may not sell us a $10 comic book DLC, but they will make us donate paid twitch subscriptions and buy a $60 game twice (and that's assuming Epic version has no exclusive). Now that they are rid of GOG, I fully expect Cyberpunk 2167 to come in "Blue" and "Purple" editions with mutually-exclusive cybernetics sets and abilities LOL. Maybe add some time-limited KFC-exclusive missions. But only for US-based KFCs with regionally-restricted keys to prevent ebay resale for good measure. F the collectors, nobody deservers a full game in the 21st century.
