GOG.com is a digital distribution platform – an online store with a curated selection of games, an optional gaming client giving you freedom of choice, and a vivid community of gamers. All of this born from a deeply rooted love for games, utmost care about customers, and a belief that you should own the things you buy.

In my family it normal that we share our game libraries with each other. We all own a lot of games, but don't have the time to play so often. In the past I have tried to convince them to buy from GOG. Their first argument against it was that GOG doesn't have the ease of use the Steam client provides. Now GOG has a client and hopfully in the coming month/years it will match Steam's.The second argument was that Steam would allow us to share it with each other. With DRM free games you could share them with your family anyway, but having an official way to do that through the galaxy client would be a big plus for GOG in my opinion. Just limit them to 5 of your galaxy friends or something, like steam, and lock the shared games when the friend who is sharing them with you is playing something.TL;DR basically I think GOG would benefit from a system similar to steam family sharing
Wouldn't that require DRM?
this would be great !!
Shit, I though this was the request for the "Steam Family Sharing" integration in the GOG Galaxy
I don't see new games added to my brother account anymore, it's not updated each time he add new games...
To get achievements and playtime I guess. Also for Multiplayer games.
Why exactly does this have to be done through the GOG client?
please allow sharing licenses with family members.
That would be really nice!
