Please DO NOT make an app targeting Ubuntu. Target Flatpak instead. A lot of companies used to make this mistake and end up hosting half-broken PPAs that require command lines to install, are only available to about 15% of Linux players, and then break Ubuntu itself on major upgrades. Flatpak is how most apps are published nowadays, for good reasons.
highly recommend for Linux support on GOG I do not know why it isn't, if so I want to work on it. I am running Linux Mints the games on Mint OS runs flawlessly!

Another +1 here, I know it is possible to get it to work though Lutris (that's what i do) but it could be much better especially for updates if a native version existed. Also with the windows 11 BS there are going to be a whole host of new Linux users in the near future, (I personally have several friends who are starting to use Linux for this reason alone) and a native version of Galaxy would make life a lot easier for those people.

We have vulkan, steam deck, so many games on steam that run flawlessly on linux. Please add Linux Support. The only reason Windows is still alive is because of gaming. Otherwise, they wouldn't be able to pull off such hideous moves on their customers.

I forced to buy 3 tittles again on Steam because GOG refuse to support Linux. No matter. As long GOG don't support Linux, no more money from me. Steam have bring new era of gaming, and millions of Linux users prefer to buy from Valve instead from other clients. Their fault ..not mine

Same here. Microsoft getting more and more invasive with changes in win11 and service agreements for private users. Also left windows for ubuntu. Please add Linux support! I don't think its ideal i have to buy CDProject Red Games on Steam.

For some reason, Gog Galaxy won't run on Wine. I can play most of the games by downloading the installer and running with Wine, but Galaxy itself doesn't work. Fixing this would suffice to our needs.
