yea also an option to completely remove the shelf part would be nice.
The "back wall" of the shelf and virtual game boxes need to come back. The sense of having a collection is almist gone with this look. It felt almost tangible before.

Yes, and while we are at it: Provide skins where the top navigation bar is opaque and not transparent. Not only is this transparent navigation bar being overly ostentatious, but it is also quite a blunder in terms of user interface design... ugh...

I wouldn't mind using other people's backgrounds. But really, all laziness aside, customization's always a plus. I was thinking about something like firefox personas?
