2025, still no offline achieviments, just finished my first run on Hollow knight(My first game on GOG), i cant see the achieviments in the game menu and every time im doing something i get the same achieviment again and again, and when i sit in a bench i get all the achieviments, again, all the time, this just make me think about buying more games in this platform

I love achievements and so I would appreciate this. I think I missed a couple of one. Also the game - Cyberpunk - does not show them in game... yikes

7 (seven!) years later and we're still waiting... Just realised that there no offline achievement in game which doesn't provide multiple save files to load and get the not recognized achievements again.
I spent 100s of hours playing offline because I rented in a small town with terrible reception. It really sucks to have all my time and effort wasted and not be reflected in the 0% achievement list...
I am also in favor of the fact that offline successes can be achieved even without the Internet, as with the Playstation or Xbox, for time recording, the PC clock is also sufficient.
Of course, THIS is in progress. Anything that collects more information.. *facepalm* (@gog)

I prefer GOG over Steam for vastly superior offline functionality and less DRM straight-jacketing, would love for that superiority to extend to their achievements in a way that highlights that offline functionality!

Achievements are one of the most important thing for me in Gaming. How often have I bought Download Games (on sale) for both consoles in the 360PS3-Era and also in the recent era with One and PS4 and having Steam Achievements is often more appealing to me than not having DRM, at least in instances when GoG doesn´t provide their achievements on certain titles.(Crazily Xbox One doesn´t provide Offline Achievements-> yeah, well thank you Cloud-Gaming...)As Achievements are not just to show but for myself and in a way belong to me they need to be offline available!
I don't care much for achievements since I put my PS3 and X360 aside, but I guess being able to unlock them and then re-sync them when your client is back online couldn't hurt.I don't use GOG Galaxy either so I wouldn't be concerned, but hey, achievements can be fun to get, and who cares about cheats, let'em eat cake, or something.
P.S on a side note, with GOG2.0 and the extra connectivity hopefully this will come ( noticed the in progress status)
Being a console gamer, and having tried this on steam, when my internet went down, I did the achievement only to find I'd never got it when I logged back in. PS3 and PS4 have this feature and it'd be a joy to see this implemented on GOG

I'm waiting for this features, because I'm a student and I have only mobile internet, so I'm trying not to waste it. What's more for internet I need to check "Hotspot" on my phone, but urghh.. :D I just want to playing games... This is the reason why I support offline achievements.

i support the idea but, it is not easy. playstation consoles have them though and xbox 360 have them. guess they need to add some kind of achievment tracker app.
Living in a country with weak internet, this would be appreciated. Concerned about exploits/unlockers? stuff like that already exists, doesnt matter the safeties. So just let those of us who willingly want to work for achievements do so regardless of connection.
this should also trigger something as easy as unlocking achievements already met in preceding playthorugh (even prior to releasing achievement, since the thing itself relies on game update): the info about a playthrough being stored in local save data, and then also synchable in the cloud using galaxy
They should just set it up so that you can sync it whenever you go back online just like steam.
I would really like offline achievements and stat and time tracking too. But I guess some sort of anti-cheat will need to be implemented.

In my opinion the achievements should be in the game settings and you can turn them off/on when you want. Then if you want you can synch with gog/steam etc. profile when you're online....but gog can't do this.
Steam has had offline achievements since at least 2014. I believe it even tracks play time, but they are not synced to your profile until you go back online. I found out by accident when I put Steam in offline mode to test some mods in a game and I didn't want to accidentally trigger any achievements or run up my play time when I wasn't actually playing. I was a bit surprised when I saw an achievement pop up, but didn't think much of it since I was offline. However, when I put Steam back online, the achievement showed up on my profile and I'm pretty sure my game time increased.
Most games should have achievements online and they should be save in the Gog's cloud too...
How would this even work? Some games have ingame achievements and thats it. You cant expect a full offline mode from GOG.
