The wish to release GOG Galaxy on Linux is one of the most voted wishes. Now the developers probably focus more on Galaxy 2.0 so it's more likely that Galaxy 2.0 will be released on Linux than the original Galaxy.

+1 GentooFrom what I can find they are using:CEF - branch 3729, dating back to 2019 (This mean no wayland support).Python - 3.7Before releasing the Linux version they'll probably want to switch to newer CEF branch.

+1 Arch! I'd like to buy more games from GOG, but the convenience offered by Steam usually tips the scale towards Valve :/
+1 CachyOS
Preferably without being like Steam and eating 2GB of RAM for no reason when a daemon would do everything that is needed. I pretty much only used Galaxy for No Man's Sky, so it discovered systems in my name, but I'm sure there are more things that would benefit from it as long as it's not too heavy.
+1 Fedora 44
Debian!
Nobara Linux (Fedora based)
+1 BazziteOS
"Install and launch any PC game you own, no matter the platform." Proton on Steam has been a game changer (no pun.)
