Played this on the GameBoy Advance and it is still one of the most memorable games I played on that console. The story had such a melancholy aspect—Ryu’s lost family, the way he was forgotten, everything around Nina and her sister, and some of the possible endings—which sticks the most. But also loved that you could build a town populated by your party, the combinations that could bring out different powers (and outfits!) for some characters, the different ways of transportation, the dragon mythos itself.
It’s my favorite game in the series.
