Why Oni (2001) Deserves to Be on GOG:
Oni is a cult-classic action game that dared to do something different: fluid, combo-driven martial arts in a 3D shooter, long before it was fashionable. Developed by Bungie West (yes, that Bungie) and published by Rockstar, it's a fusion of cyberpunk, anime, and tactical gameplay — and it deserves a second life on GOG.
🌀 Unique Gameplay Hybrid
Third-person gunplay + deep hand-to-hand combat system
You’re rewarded for fighting with your fists, not just your guns — every punch, flip, and throw feels impactful

GOG’s preservation-first mission is perfect for giving Oni a new home
My Memory of Oni:
Konoko wasn’t just a cyberpunk badass — she was your cyberpunk badass. Dashing through megacorp facilities, disabling enemies with perfect judo throws, and flipping into slow-mo firefights made me feel like I was inside an anime. It was raw, kinetic, and absolutely unforgettable.
Oni wasn’t afraid to be weird and brilliant — and that’s exactly why it belongs on GOG.
