It was one of the first 3rd person action games i had played on my PC. Me and my brother used to play this together, where he used to control the movement by keyboard and I used to handle the mouse. The different combo attacks, limited saves and tough opponents made it fun as well as challenging. It would be nice to play it again and keep it my collection. It would be pure nostalgia playing it once again.winningmage957

So much of my teenhood was spent playing this game. It deserves to be brought back, heck, I think it deserves a remaster more than many games that are getting remasters today.

I missed this game growing up but always wanted to play it, if GOG picked it up I would gladly buy it on day one! the art style and theme of this game is so perfect especially for retro gamers like myself

i never played the game and would love to buy on gog.i heard from the bad comad and that is what my interreset me in the game. it would be nice to play it on pc and not on the ps2

This is something i compared the idea of Mirror's edge to (unfairly as that game was forced to have combat whilst Oni was MEANT to throught development) but there are reasonable simillarities between the acrobatic moves of their respective protagonists and rather minimalist enviroments they often find themselves in. To be blunt the game controlls WILL make you annoyed because you have played PC game in last 25 years... but it dose get little less bad after a while of intense play - after you've rewritten some of your muscle memmory. Story and Style of the charakters (explicitly not enviroments just charakters and i think cutscenes if i recall? those were stright out of pages of the source i beleive) do make it more than interesting choice for those who are willing to give it conssiderable leeway untill they get used to it. so yes if it somehow gets licensed and released on GoG it would be great boon for ... few dedicated fans. myself included. it is certainly amongst more memorable games of its genre and feels slightly ahead of time in some gameplay aspects (very dynamif melee to weapon combat). just you know kinda rough because of that too.

While this game had a pc release (lost in ebay listing jail lol) this is a very unique and killer old bungie game, that very much deserves a second chance. Not to mention was the closest thing to a good GITS game at the time.

This was one of the first games i have played with my firleds when I was a kid. I remmeber my long time friend coming over and we were playign till the death when we were switching. I did not understood half of the text and combos but soubndtrack from this game i listne to this day. Outstanding game

This game was a masterpiece and went wholly underappreciated. I can't remember how many times I played it, but the sound effects and the character animations are still a core memory. Hard but fair, satisfying, with very creative weapons and melee combat.

This was such a cool game, but man were the controls buggy. I really loved the story and gameplay. I was really invested in it and even had the audio CD. Really hoping that it GOG is able to pick it up. I have fond memories of playing this on my laptop on roadtrips, and would love another chance at playing it (hopefully with some improved controls!).

This was the FIRST video game I ever played back in 2003, it was a part of a box set that my dad bought me that had Serious Sam and some other games in it. I fell so in love with this game specifically it was the only thing I played for 5 years, I would KILL for an official port into a game service that I trust and use regularly!

FreelancerEight hundred years prior to the start of our story, bitter conflict divided all of mankind. A handful of colonists struck out on their own to begin anew - far away from the Earth and its turmoil. Several ships were launched with enough equipment and supplies to give the hundreds onboard a fighting chance - but since the area around far-off Sirius had never been surveyed, no one really knew what to expect. What they found was a new frontier of free-flowing natural resources, unexplored territories, great wonders and lurking dangers. Each ship, representing the clusters of people and their earthly place of origin, settled into different parts of the galaxy pre-selected by their ship-board computer to give them the best chance of survival. Life was hard in the beginning, but over the 800 years the different colonies prospered and expanded their territories, claiming more and more systems for their own. Survival and propagation eventually led to growth and profit as each of the colonies developed specialties and fostered commerce. As the colonies grew and time passed their connections with their roots on Earth dwindled and they lost their memories of the conflicts of the past. Soon their attention was dominated by new, more immediate conflicts. Feelings of lost ancestral connection spurred anachronism in the look of the great cities, and created a somewhat distorted image of each colony's cultural heritage. In the ever-expanding outer edge of the territories, frontier lawlessness prevailed. The Houses: Each shipboard colony that left Earth carried some memory of its origins in its name. The Liberty carried Americans, The Bretonia flew from The United Kingdom and surrounding territory, The Kusari from Asia, and the Rheinland launched with Germanic cargo. As each ship settled and colonies began to expand, they knew little about each other and their advancing development. Finally, little by little, the individual colonies found each other and began to set up trade routes to link their systems for commerce and solidarity. Today, with each colony firmly rooted in its respective corner of the galaxy, the colonies rely heavily on each other for trade and industry but also compete for resources and new territories in the Border Worlds. The colonies mandate member governments in "The New Alliance" within the Sirius sector. To control conflicts, each colony has forged alliances and treaties with others as they have grown. Competition remains fierce, however. Struggles rage for supremacy in business, commerce, resources, power and control. There can be tenuous peace between colonies' political agendas, but the grabs for holdings constantly unsettle the volatile frontier.
