For me, Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos and its original expansion are still true gaming masterpieces. They not only defined an era, but even today they feel far superior to the remastered version, a release I honestly do not even feel comfortable buying. I would choose the original experience a thousand times over: its visual style, its identity, its atmosphere, and the untouched memory of what this classic was at its very best. My wish is to preserve it exactly as I knew it, ideally in a DRM-free version, so I can keep it with me forever and treasure it like the gem it truly is.aljecali

Please GOG, bring us the OG. You are our only hope!
The melee still has enormous dept and the best RTS campaign ever. The best RTS even today, so it's still being played! With heroes, economy, tech and creeping all having to be balanced allows for endless fun. Even if you didn't win the game you still beat up some neutrals. It allows for practicing and doing so much before you fight the opponent. And when you are well practiced you can go ranked. The custom maps allow for endless gameplay variation with entire new genres being created.
I've come to upvote this game after hearing that Blizzard has finally integrated the classic version of Warcraft 3 into their client for those who purchased Reforged. But, that's not good enough for me!

The campaign is maybe one of my core gamer memory. I can't think of any other game needing to be rescued more than this one and its expansion "Frozen throne". The true horror of the situation : this game has been replaced forever by an awful remaster, we need to keep this gem on the pantheon and preserve it from its owners.

There is not much that I can say about this game that hasn't been said by others over the years. This is one for the generations, a true masterpiece. As a kid, this game captured my imagination in such a massive way, an absolute gem of Fantasy gaming. If GOG restored this, that would be a truly worthy endeavor.
To be honest this is my childhood game and I love to see it back in gog store also games like command and conquer generals zero hour and world of warcraft these games are special for me
I discovered Warcraft at internet cafes while playing with friends—all those maps that have now been lost because of Blizzard’s terrible remake. This is a blow to the preservation of video games; in an ideal world, the remake shouldn’t take away access to the original versions.
used to play this game just for the chance to make my own damn maps...loved how....not complex it was and i don't think the company had any rights to delete it...or even attempt to delete it i find with how much money they made it should have been illegal to get rid of it in any way
the story everything the stories that i made it one of the greats of all time wow the voices even my own balls go hard for this game the cheat codes awesome wow
Those games also need your vote!

Black & White 2
Black & White 2In the game, the player takes the role of a god called from the void (nothingness) to help those who invoked them. However, the player is not an omnipotent style god, but rather a god who rises and falls with his believers and the player must help develop their nature according to their good or evil desires. The player also has a creature, their physical representation in the world, which takes the form of an anthropomorphic ape, lion, wolf, turtle, cow, or tiger. Its physical manifestation can grow to an immense size, and adopt a good or evil persona separate of the player's. They develop their character as the player rewards or punishes their actions. In addition to the god simulation and city-building elements introduced in the original Black & White, Black & White 2 also features elements of real-time strategy gameplay, with the addition of controllable warfare and fighting units.
