My plans included all the above - walked in a parade in my town with a nephew and niece, then cooked some hot dogs and watched fireworks at the park where the parade ended.

I do something similar, but instead of avatars it's wallpapers. I have a collection of wallpapers for each season, and every day I change the wallpaper based on the weather. I also have a few neutral ones I throw in occasionally.
