CraigGen_1970: Ok, then please tell me what I don't own on Steam, Epic, Origin, Uplay, Consoles.
Comeon, lets hear it, WHAT DON'T I OWN ?
What am I being denied on these stores ? I mean, I have owned Half-Life 2 for 15 years, and yet I can still play it no differently to you. Who cares ? So what ? Are you saying you will still be playing them in 20 years time ? This whole "Ownership", even though you only really own a license, is just mass hysteria. The majority of the public do not care about this, thats why the consoles continue to sell in their millions, and games sell more on console than they do on PC, with some selling 10's of millions - and they're just as DRM'ed as on the PC.
Look at music and movies and TV shows, nobody cares about owning them anymore - that is soooo 10 years ago. Streaming is insanely popular, Netflix, Amazon Prime, all doing great - and you own none of that.
Look, I appreciate and respect your opinion, and that you own your games. But the reason I get so damn angry, and my posts can be over-the-top, is because MY opinion, and how I buy and consume media, is NOT respected - especially here. The stupid thread about stop buying from Steam is proof that many here don't respect opinions from those who don't care about DRM.
Why would you go to a DRM-Free store and start telling people you don't care about DRM? That's like walking into a vegan restaurant to proclaim you don't care about meat in your food. Sure, you don't, but you're in a place of people who do, and many of whom are hostile towards people who like to murder animals for food.
