I'm new on GOG so wanted to know, when will there be a new big sale ? (like for summer)
Who knows if there will be a back to school, GOG 12 year anniversary or other sale before the autumn sale.

There are always sales, daily, weekly, monthly, seasonal, special, release.

Check this post and you'll know as much as we know – i.e. in what months the big sales used to be.

Not to be an asshole, but you registered almost 4 years ago and bought over 70 games here...

I see. Well, stick around, hope you enjoy the place. Sorry for the third degree, it just seemed odd to me so I asked.

Some of us came here for a free game back in the day from a then "dodgy site", stuck around for 7 years occasionally snatching a free game here and there, and then decided to start buying when the site gained more credibility.

You're not being an asshole, since there's no way of knowing. But yeah, I'm sure there's more people like me on the site.

Same story here - and I suppose it's quite often scheme. I've registered during Fallout classics giveaway and I immediately forgot I have the account ;) It took me a few years to realize, how much I value freedom of offline installers, no additional client needed and simply DRM Free philosophy. Today I don't pay for games anywhere but here.

And remember that it's quite easy to get about even 100 library positions here with simply grabbing freebies, GOG connect and demos, which are also counted.

Huh? You mean the way some Steam users assume DRM-free games must be pirated?

You lost me. I joined Steam long after I started buying on GOG in 2018. I don't understand what you're saying since the Steam users I know are stuck on CS:GO and Dota.

Well, I didn't understand what you meant about GOG once being "dodgy site". The only such accusations I've ever heard of before were some hardline Steam users calling it a piracy site, because they assumed that's what DRM-free means.
