The thing about brain aneurysms is that your doctor has to suspect you already have one, in order to bother scheduling a CT or MRI scan to look for it. Without any advance notice like that, it's like the sudden catastrophic failure of a dam wall once it does happen.

The real irony here is that he probably could've built his own scanner, given enough advance notice. RIP to an absolute genius; the world is a poorer place without him.

Sad day indeed. The man was a force, and his genuine smile and kind personality always shown through. I feel bad for those who knew him best right now, this has to be heart-breaking.

I always thought that he's still so young, around 30 or so. He's actually 49 and time passed that much for us eh.

I always figured Tory would be the first to go from the "B" team of Mythbusters. Not for any specific reason, but then again I also expect Jamie Hyneman's mustache to survive a nuclear blast and outlive humanity.

It's weird to note that Grant and Tory are/were the same age.
