Both the backgrounds and the 'celestial' bodies you play on are displayed in basic polygons (mostly triangles).

That is indeed "Donut Dodo"--a fantastic arcade game that plays how we remember the old ones, but is actually way superior in many small aspects that round up the whole experience.
