Has any one had manual saves overwright other saves instead of creating there own save file ?

I was just in a fight with the Operator and got that damn control input block bug and decided to save in the middle of the fight, then after reloading, like five prior saves were missing.

Are you referring to the F5 as manual save..then yes they overwrite . But the manual save where you press esc and then click save don`t overwrite .

Since when can you save during a fight?

I've had quicksaves vanish after a F5-crash, once or twice.

Not sure if I've experienced this. I've certainly lost saves but I always put it down to me not doing it.

Have lurked these boards a bunch and only seen this come up once before. I suspect it is a system issue, rather than a game issue...if it is happening at all. (Not calling you stupid or crazy, just perhaps mistaken.)

It is not possible to save during a fight; so that has me wondering too.
