Dreams of Desire: Definitive Edition

AAA Visual Novel for adults

Many of the low ratings are from people expecting to play a video game. This novel has an interesting plot. Very good erotic. Top notch visuals. The experience is very good. It is difficult to unlock the mother's dark side early on, but other than that, it wasn't too difficult.

Masterful storytelling

Quantic Dream are amazing at telling unique stories. This game enabled them to write Heavy Rain and Beyond 2 Souls, which I also highly recommend. If you add the game to non-steam library, you can use steam input to play with a controller. 5/5 stars. I love the main characters. They have their faults, but they are realistic.

Engrossing tough narrative, Great gals

This VN really tests your ability to make decisions and what the consequences will be. Is it a perfect game, absolutely not, but it brings a large difficulty curve for the genre. Not a harem game. Repercussions and wrong turns can be a frequent thing (plus and negative). With that said, highly recommend someone new to experience it. Adult scenes are good, not great or lacking. Shocking events and additional playthroughs likely. Great sense of humor.
