The Suicide of Rachel Foster

JUST LOVABLE

This is not an ordinary game, and that is precisely what makes the overall experience so enchantingly dark. The game is a suspense thriller that portrays the tragedy of Rachel Foster’s suicide through the grief of those left behind after her sudden departure. All of this is crafted with mastery, in an incredibly well-written story, featuring excellent dialogues and charismatic characters that leave players longing once the game is over. But this comes at a price: the game feels much more like an interactive experience, similar to cinematic-style games, yet with the full freedom of 3D. Naturally, this creates a very specific niche of players. For fans of psychological horror and cruel stories such as Martha Is Dead, Fear the Spotlight, and similar titles, I consider it essential.

A beautiful story without words.

Gris is a beautiful experience, told without words but accompanied by one of the most stunning soundtracks ever composed. A reminder of how self-discovery, perseverance, willpower, and the desire to go beyond are some of the most fundamental aspects of human nature. It is visually gorgeous— in my opinion, a reflection of how life itself is beautiful, even when we fail to notice it in our daily routines — expressed through a wordless yet deeply emotional narrative. Recommended for those who are looking for more than just a game. And it even comes with the bonus of being a game, offering enjoyable exploration and engaging puzzles.

It's not a game like everyone know.

It's not a game, but a experience based on a historyteling, where you will find out yourself living with a couple during a running away and handling the problems that bring whit it. For most people, that like AAA graphics and don't care with empty head histories and lot of action, just go away, because the game have none of it. The history telling It's similiar a 3D graphical novel with plataform gameplay and some combats and LOT OF TALKING, A LOT, literally. If you love great histories, and enjoy indie games because they might be fun, have a nice rich history or ofer a experience that it's not seeing too much (never seen this before), it's for you. Enjoy a couple history of love and perseverance with ocasional fights and problems. 10/10 for me ( 4 of this points just for the good ending T.T

Wonderfuly nice

The game itselft it's short but prety enjoyable, it's a proff that people with nice ideas that put effort in their projects can make something great and beaultiful. In overal, the game is faster than regular FPS titles, but not that fast like DOOM, so DOOM players will probably enjoy more, the non-FPS elements like the sword fight and parry give's the gameplay a nice different touch. My only complains are how about the story teling itsel, the dialogs are not well writen and voices has no emotion, this makes the game looks to much supperficial and by some reason it seen's that the game don't run on DX12 on AMD cards even with -dx12 tweak suggested at the forum. About the gameplay, not a 100% polished, so some minor visual bugs occurs sometimes, but prety nice. Just don't buy the DLC's, they are wortless and ugly.
