And no, the title isn't a reference to how it short it is, far from it, I still haven't finished a single playthrough and been at it for months now - definitely a must play for anyone into challenging platformers. No Face, No Problem

Honestly, I have to get back to it one of these days, but it can be so stressful (like all the other games of this sort I guess). The only thing that is a downside is how unbelievably hard it gets halfway through but hey - git gud, right?

Bizarre and Beautiful

I've seen people complaining about this being "just another shooter" - yeah sure, but it caters to a "niche" of paranormal shooters, which I think we haven't had enough. Here's my extended opinion https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ofkUV68Cz7k But I'll add this since I've finished the game in the meantime: it keeps getting weirder by the second, and it keeps getting better by the second. Definitely a must play for people that enjoy twisted narratives!

Second Chances

Last year I posted a video that got some flak because I decided to outright get the bad things out of the way and then focused on what makes this a good game, ending with a note "it had a rough start, but like Silverhand, it just needed a second chance". Here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kSHmI23U1dI Another year has gone by and Phantom Liberty was a good excuse for even more updates to the game to make it better, so now I'll add this: it's far from perfect, it's far from what was promised, but it's still one of the best games of this genre I've played over the last decade.

THANK YOU GOG, didn't see it coming but it was an insta-buy from me. Last time I played this, I was running +250 mods to a total of 700hrs on the same save, and this was all on the original version (not Legendary, not SE). Ah, to be able do it all again - to ride a horse through the snow, to shout at everything in my way, to defeat Alduin and hoard all the sweet rolls - now with half the crashes and double the content!

From rags to ridiculously good!

Ignore what you knew about this game. Those videos of animals glitching in the most hilarious of ways? Seldom happen now. Laggy gameplay? Maybe when you boot it the first time, when loading millions and millions of assets. Not fun because of bugs and crashes? Played 7 hours straight, didn't even flinch. And that's the improvements - want to talk about content? I have 30 hours playing on my own, barely feels like I started the game! Opening up the radar and seeing a million things to do was almost overwhelming, but NEVER repetitive (which let's agree is a big challenge for most sandbox games). You got harvesting, crafting, combat, space exploration, base building, secrets, survival elements... Just everything the game promised it would be. I bow to Hello Games for the commitment.
