7th Legion

Experimental yet dated

I played this game upon the release back in a day. Never finished. It was too hard and clunky for me. Finally, done. Yet, I have mixed feelings. The game is extremely dated. AI is dumb. Missions over repetitive. Compared to C&C and SC it is a bad game. Yet, there are many mechanics that could be used later, like cards, research and upgrade, money gaining system. Partially they were reimagined in WH40K and Ground Control games. It is worth playing for those old fans like me and those who remember 90s. But for the new generation, pass.

System Shock® 2: 25th Anniversary Remaster

Timeless classic

It is not the first time I play it. Everytime I return to the game, it feels a little bit more and different. I enjoy listening to the audio logs. This time, I wanted to try 25th Anniversary Remaster and check what was changed. Honestly, I expected a bit more, for example, better instructions or improved graphics of the Heart of the Many, etc. The game deserves a full-scale remake to disclose SHODAN's master plan (especially in the end) and evolution of the Many.

The Settlers® 4: Gold Edition

Disaster game

It was already odd to play campaign back in a day, but now it is even worse. Absolutely idiotic mechanics of the dark tribe and their OP spawns and attacks. Just artificially extended the playtime.
