Requires outdated OS features to run
After following a multitude of steps on the disorganized Matrix Games forums, which included both "normal" stuff like reinstalling Directx 9 or editing a config file, and bizarre stuff no one should have to do, such as installing Internet Explorer and a legacy version Windows Media Player, the game ultimately just won't run.
Even if it did, I wouldn't count on Internet Explorer working as a fix for much longer. This is just one of those games on the GOG catalog that simply hangs around, doesn't run on a modern OS, and doesn't get enough sales to warrant a fix or removal. It's a zombie entry.
Fortunately, GOG's refund system should work and requires no compatibility troubleshooting on my end.
