get the enhanced edition instead
bought this version b4 the EE released & regret it, mainly because theres no free upgrade for the EE that im aware of.
stuff carries over from BG1! its got more content, better graphics & interface. generally more reliable on modern machines.
if you try to play /w 3d hardware acceleration switched on in the config, you get all these graphical anamolies that make an epilleptic's worst nitemares come true.
