I have not had the chance to play this game but I have had the pleasure of witnessing this game be played many times. It was not only Capcom's continuation offering for Breath of Fire on a 32-bit console, it was a significant adventure spanning 40+ hours. The dragon system is one of the most interesting of the series, with certain combinations turning Ryu into a powerhouse that can become advantageous in a pinch. The story is something to be had; the side things you can do add to the overall charm. Told in two different 'acts' going across a wide stretch of content and dialogue, it's little wonder that so many would really like to see this become a reality. And I would certainly be honored to see this come to light, so that I may not only get the chance to finally play this myself, but for many others to have a share of incredible history. And since it is one of those Good ol' Games, it's only right that it belongs here!ThatWindbliss

This game is one of my favorite RPGs of all time, and the beginning is one of my favorites to replay. I fondly refer to the opening hours as “playing bandits with the boys” and that section is always so happy until it isn’t.
This was the first breath of fire i played, I got the game as a kid from a car boot sale. I got home and played it straight away, walking round as a little dragon I loved it then as the game progressed and I found I could become different dragons with different skills I was hooked. I even brought it on PSP just so I could have it anywhere I wanted!

One of the greatest games ever made from start to end, childhood into adulthood. You just don't get this kind of quality creativity and story anymore. Will always be one of my top 5 RPGs of all time.
Easily my favorite Breath of Fire game, and one of the best RPGs on the PS1, there is very little I can complain about with this game. Gripping story, completely unique and never really replicated dragon gene system (even in the two follow-up games), and top notch pixel art only matched by BoFIV. I'd buy it on GoG again, for the third time (well, fourth, I bought the JP PS1 version on my trip to Japan) just to play it all again.
Beat this game back in 98 Rei weretiger form was the best!!!! I enjoyed the game mechanics and different dragonforms that you can utilize. Great story and a fun fishing game and fairy town building.

Played it on my PS1 and was fully immersed into it. Such a great game. I really had a good time with it. On a time based mission I failed and dropped the title. I hope GOG will also pick this up. Then I will succeed in beating this title 20 years later !!!
Breath of fire 3 was my first jrpg, I was 12, and has been love from the first moment. Today my main character is always named Ryu and I still love Rei! Probably without bof3 I never start to play role play, that is my favourite kind of games and I spent into them most of my free time, also now that I lead a company! Indeed is my heart game!

This was the first Breath of Fire game I ever played and I loved it. I played this before Final Fantasy 7. The characters were great but I wished they were more specialized in combat. Learning from masters was fun. If I was a game designer I'd rip on that mechanic so hard.

Black & White 2
Black & White 2In the game, the player takes the role of a god called from the void (nothingness) to help those who invoked them. However, the player is not an omnipotent style god, but rather a god who rises and falls with his believers and the player must help develop their nature according to their good or evil desires. The player also has a creature, their physical representation in the world, which takes the form of an anthropomorphic ape, lion, wolf, turtle, cow, or tiger. Its physical manifestation can grow to an immense size, and adopt a good or evil persona separate of the player's. They develop their character as the player rewards or punishes their actions. In addition to the god simulation and city-building elements introduced in the original Black & White, Black & White 2 also features elements of real-time strategy gameplay, with the addition of controllable warfare and fighting units.

Fable: The Lost Chapters
Fable: The Lost ChaptersFable was expanded and rereleased as Fable: The Lost Chapters for Xbox and Windows PC platforms in September 2005. The game was later ported to Mac OS X by Robosoft Technologies and published by Feral Interactive on 31 March 2008. The Lost Chapters features all the content found in the original Fable, as well as additional new content such as new monsters, weapons, alignment based spells, items, armour, towns, buildings, and expressions, as well as the ability to give children objects. The story receives further augmentation in the form of nine new areas and sixteen additional quests. Characters such as Briar Rose and Scythe, who played only minor roles in the original game, are now given more importance and are included in certain main and side quests. Other character-based augmentations include the voice of the antagonist, Jack of Blades, sounding deeper, harsher and more demonic, and the ability to uncover (and resolve) the murder mystery of Lady Grey's sister. The updated edition of the game also applied fixes for certain glitches, such as the "dig glitch," in which the protagonist would move backward each time he used the shovel, pushing him through solid objects and sometimes trapping him.
