I played this game on PC when it came out, with my dad. I was around seven years old. I also played the PS2 version extensively on the PS3. And I've also been playing the anniversary edition on my PC for over a decade now. In total I have nearly 50 pieces of rare and vintage Oni items including an original T-shirt, marketing materials, soundtrack, comics, both the DF variant and the ashcan. I've got demo disks and press kits. I've even got the title of this game tattooed on my arm. I'm a huge fan of this game and it's influence still impacts me to this day. If GOG could pick this up, it would make the game more available to play for millions of people. Right now the game can only be played on vintage consoles or through the anniversary edition. As far as I know, this game has become a cult classic, but honestly it needs a lot of love. From a cancelled sequel, to noone major company ever mentioning it. This game needs to be brought back to life. The community for it is huge, and there are still people to this day, adding mods to the anniversary edition. I hope I can be alive to see this game have another chance to change newer generations of people lives. If only Halo had not come out after this one from the same developer. Maybe the franchise would have received more love.
