BlueMooner: Is this recent? This behavior is certainly true everywhere else online but I liked GOG since the group here has been generally older than your typical forumites, and thus more mature. But I haven't been here for a few years.

Has been this way since Witcher 3 came out. While I adore the game, this brought a lot of... I don't know... here. It's already gotten better a lot - I had been away for a while when trolling and scamming really got out of hand, because I had some personal/family issues too.
Thing is, the old cosy community of old is in shambles. A lot of people left the forums for good. Well, the price we pay for GOG expanding...
Still I think the asshole quota here is pretty low compared to most other places on the internet.
