Pathfinder: Kingmaker - Imperial Edition Bundle

Like bugs???

Mansion but that's a game breaker ... usually a main character.. needed to go forward, will get stuck behind something, usually weapon rack.. NOTHING moves him, reboot, fight outside with bad guys, won't bring him running.. nothing works.. must abandon game and start over.. 4 times so far, each time, this happens... done.... can't leave character since it's one that's needed to advance... so.... Many hours using, AI and Google, has not brought a resolution... good luck...

Svarog's Dream

like frustration... get this

Some aspects nice enough... but, this will be put away and never recommended. I don't mind choices and consequences.... but it would be nice if the game gave enough info to make informed decisions.... and NOT have the game lead you down a story line, that has no info as to what it might do.... and it causes your game to break.... with needed quests, becoming closed... hence, unable to finish the game.... Example... You're quest line leads you to kill Perun.... and after you do... you can't complete quests that allow you to finish the game....with NO warning or any real info regarding what you're doing or why....Absolutely no info indicating that this was not the time to kill him... duh..... I guess they thought this was neat... cryptic, consequences and all... but, not when you have no real clue which choices to make, because the game withholds important info, so you can't make an informed choice. And then have the game break... sucks....can't recommend... and i've been playing rpg's for over 40 years.... not a newbie.... this game looks good but, it's really a frustrating, incomplete game... Play for hours... and then the game breaks because it had you do something... pretty much told you to do it... and then can't finish cause the other quests you need are locked out... won't be getting any more games from these dev's.... Maybe they knew what they wanted you to do... but they forgot to tell me...or neglected to give enough info to have the different choices... make ANY sense...

Fallout: London

bugs in the bugs in the bugs...

Potential for a fun experience... but in 45 years of gaming, i have never had a game with so many bugs...level 37 and i have spent as much time on the computer looking for fixes.. as i have playing the game... well no more... i quit... supposed to be another big patch out soon, but with all that needs attention.. but, with almost every quest having an issue of some sort or other .. i'm not very hopeful. And, this is with extensive patching already... I can't even begin to imagine what it was like before this extensive patching.. If you get off on spending 1/2 your computer time, looking for ways around the next issue, this is for you. Some folks really enjoy this "detective" work.. i want to play the game.. not try to make it run.. i'm still on Win 10..keeping the frame rate low.. to no avail.. I'll wait for the next patch.

Dark Quest 1 & 2

Good luck playing

Game crashing after the 1st quest. Got to town and cannot leave. My character has disappeared. I've tried every "fix" I came across.. No matter what. Game fails at the very start... the heck with it... just "burned" my money. Too late to do do anything with GOG about it. Using Win 10 with all up to date innards... so good luck if you buy.

Enderal: Forgotten Stories

good and bad

Huge amount of work went into this ... and I appreciate the effort... agree with all the positive reviews. Nice character development... great scenery, and so on.... But, there is a flip side... can be VERY boring at times. Many, many, bugs.... spend time trying to figure something out, end up going on line for an answer and find out it's a bug. Re do... re set... use the console...back track a lot.... I'm outa here. No way around areas you don't enjoy or are not naturally good at... Hate stealth and the guards in the last "black stone" castle is the game breaker for me. Tired of spending hours at something I don't enjoy.. and cannot do. Coupled with bugs, repetition... etc...even though I'm level 42, it's become rather boring... and I'll move on to something more to my liking. Most everyone will like this game and the effort put into it. Go for it.... if it's your bag, you'll love it... have fun

Alaloth: Champions of The Four Kingdoms - Ultimate Pack

no console ..no sale Yeah... I know

Always play as dev's intended, a time or two. Then, after playing and getting to know the game, for replays I like to mess with console commands. I know the two camps regarding console commands... and think a game should be played as intended. The 1st time or two anyway. The console can extend and modify game play to make it more enjoyable for the player and their style of play. Don't appreciate dev's, shoving their ideals and such, down my throat by denying me the option of using a console, when and if, I wish. It's my very hard earned money and I should be given the option of playing a game, I've paid for, any way I like and brings me pleasure. Using the console, in no way, hurts the developer... they still get the money. But, it gives us options and ways to play a game, more enjoyable and fitting to our play style. This self serving, morality decision prevents me from not have the extra fun and diversion, of using a console command when I wish to. So... I'll go play the Witcher games again... If you patch it to include, console commands, I'll give it a go.. Until then, keep your morality choices and game... to yourselves.

Dragon Age™: Origins - Ultimate Edition

Sad.. but true..

Probably played every RPG, ever created. Including most Action/Adventure RPG games... Pen and Paper, before that. Cannot understand ALL the glowing reviews. This game is essentially.... boring. Don't just read the "glowing" reviews... see why many don't enjoy this game. NO real choices.... usual, go here, do that, report back, go kill/deliver, come back, over and over. Seeing the RPG reference, and "deep story", I fell for it. No matter your level or the shop, loot WILL NOT change. All the same stuff. Everywhere you go. Over and over. After a visiting a few shops, you'll know ALL the inventory by heart. Don't hope another shop will be different. It won't. Crafting, if you can call it that. Only a few items, No crafting of armor or weapons. VERY limited and uninteresting. Nothing to really to look forward to, or really pique your interest. Yeah, it covers a lot of ground, nice scenery... etc. But, it in no way does this make up for a tedious game. And the level cap.... even takes the fun of grinding to insane levels away, from those who enjoy it. Before you know it, you're done gaining levels.... and only have the boring game, equipment and monsters, to look forward to. Over the years, aching for an RPG, I tried to play this game....twice. This 3rd time it's uninstalled.. for good. Don't bother about choices. Most of the time, the game has you do, what IT wants you to do. Several player don't even bother taking or playing the Rouge. Why, they write, there's nothing fun or interesting for her to find. EVER Game's been around a long time, But, save your money. Buy only at "give away" prices. Just another game dev's have made and conned us into buying by mentioning the RPG aspect. And, like too many others.. it failed, big time. Isn't there another Witcher on the horizon???? I can't play M&M anymore... I know them by heart...

GreedFall - Gold Edition

Mostly boring and a bit of handholder.

Yeah.. nice visuals. Some interesting equipment. Option to change character type, during the game.. It has good companion quests. Nice companion interactions. But, the bottom line is, this game is boring. It's mainly go find this or that... talk to him or her... take the item or message back and.... go do it again. Battles ok... If you like to get OP'd by grinding, you can, just sleep at a campfire. Lots of different places to go.. but, all very similar. As in, seen one, seen them all. And, even with fast travel... you're gonna spend a lot of time, walking around. I'm about 3/4 way through and I'm gonna quit. Just nothing stimulating or exciting about this game... At 1st it's "new".... as you get a handle on things.. But, once you leave the prison island, it's just same old, same old. Nothing at all to keep me wanting to go back, for just a bit more. I just don't care what the next mission might be, since it's nothing new. Happily I got it on deep sale... Possibly if they make a Greedfall 2, and pay attention to the negative reviews/comments.... they can make a game that makes you want to go back for more. This game, isn't it... And the fast travel... oh my.... leaves a LOT to be desired. This game is better than nothing... but, keep looking if you want twists... interesting situations... good loot, and lots of.... un boring stuff... I'm not new to RPG's ... Been playing them for over 30 years... I've seen quite a few.. come and go... This Greedfall will quickly be forgotten. Maybe #2 will be better??? But, if this game is any indication... they need to utilize a LOT more imagination. Once you've finished it... doubtful you play again... absolutely no reason to go back for more....and you will forget Greedfall... probably before you shut your computer down.

Edge Of Eternity

Edge of Eternity

Nice visuals, thing to do, crafting, the gems, etc... BUT... the "no fun" boss fights are finally a deal breaker. At level 33, I've spent some time messing around with the game. There were a few time before this stage of the game when I almost uninstalled, but didn't. Well, the Junkyard, broke the camels back..... and that's it. Uninstalling. When difficulty and some fights become work and aggravation rather that having a good time, it's time to dump the game. Sad too... some very nice aspects to playing ... especially the "Kitty Horses".... and riding them.. yee haw, compared to some other games with a critter to ride.. The dev's got these guys down pat. But, even for a super cat lover, it's not enough to mitigate the horrid, no fun .. fights.
