"Black and White" holds a space in my mind and heart that has never truly lapsed. It was one of those games that was unique at the time and unforgetable because of it. It really felt like you were making a difference to all those little npcs, for good or for bad, and the angst in deciding how to best 'teach' your creature as it stumbled across the land with your floating hand was such an interesting aspect. Having so many decisions like that really felt immersive, even if by today's standard, they may seem like a drop in the ocean. Depending on the type of player you were, there was a sense of trying to make the world work for your community and the grey area challenge of how you made that work was super interesting. As well as being able to fight other deities which added another level.
I only have good memories of playing this game and always found myself going back to it. It would be amazing to be able to see it again and have it preserved.
