I still remember it as if it were yesterday. A friend of my dad's (I called him uncle) came to my 9th birthday party and gave me a collector's edition of Fable 1. It was one of the first fantasy games that sparked my imagination as a kid, and it was also one of the first games that threw me into the world of fantasy. {...} Part of the story disappears here. {...} As a teenager, I remembered that there was something called Fable and I remembered that it was a great game. I then came across Fable 3 on the internet and enjoyed playing it as well. How much I wanted to play Fable 2... not for the graphics, storyline, or gameplay, but simply to experience it – to finish the trilogy, to be sure that I wouldn't miss anything before the fourth installment of the series. Of course, with GOG's help, I can be sure that I will be able to play the game in peace, and who knows, maybe I'll start making backup copies of the installers.
