I've had the privelage of growing up in different countries across my youth, 2 of them being island based. I can say without a doubt that no other game resonates with me as much as Final Fantasy X. A fish out of water/Love story on an island backdrop with some of the most beautiful graphics ever put to ps2, (alongside Silent Hill 3, different art styles but it was 2001!) and countless others from the platform. This game was the first game to make me appreciate videogame music, and I was 6! Set this game free of drm, get the HD release and old school version if you can GOG! ALL OF SPIRA IS COUNTING ON YOU!DarthShoryuken911

The first Final Fantasy game I ever played. It was also the first video game I ever played from beginning to end. The PS2 version holds a special place for me. The story and sountrack will always hit me in the feels. Being able to play the orignal again would be amazing, especially since I know longer have my PS2. The remastered almost scratches the nostalgia itch, but the original faces are something I very much miss.
final fantasy X played on every console it got released on, was peak final fantasy , blitzball, auron. even though I wasn't keep on the religous aspects it resonated especially Tidus and his relationship with his father, I have a similer one , would love seeing it on GOG

"Now! This is it! Now is the time to choose! Die and be free of pain, or live and fight your sorrow! Now is the time to shape your stories! Your fate is in your hands!" These words define why I believe so strongly in preservation. Final Fantasy X is a journey that starts with music that still rocks to this day, leading us through a world of sacrifice and spirit. It is a story about taking fate into your own hands, and why I believe players should have that same agency over their own libraries. From the thunderous opening to the sun-drenched shores of Besaid, this masterpiece deserves a home on GOG where it can live on, DRM-free and eternal. This isn't just about software; it's about protecting the moments that stay with us. It’s about cheering for Yunie and, perhaps most of all, protecting the bright, kind heart of Rikku. She is the soul of the journey, a character so full of life and loyalty that she truly deserves to be cherished. This story belongs to the ages. Let’s make sure it is never silenced and always accessible to those who want to find their way back to Spira.
I got sick during high school, and ended up playing Final Fantasy X on PS2 for more than 200 hours straight, except toilet brakes and sleep. I was already in love with the franchise after playing FFV, FFIX, FFVIII, and FFVII, but even if I wasn't... Final Fantasy X is simply one of the best games ever made. It has a nearly perfect combat and levelup system, its the most fluid turn-based battle system I know of. The story is amazing and unique. The characters are highly lovable, funny, cool, interesting. The music is extremely good. The only flaw was the English dub. Yes, John DiMaggio is excellent, but still, I would love to replay one of my most favorite games ever with proper Japanese voice acting and English subtitles. So it must have a separate Japanese option for voice. It really ought to include all three Sphere Grids (alternate level-up schemes) from the various versions, adding an extra GOG Grid would be an amazing flex. I assume high resolution support is a given, since HD Remaster already exists—but it doesn't really need to look "better" than it did on PS2, I think it aged really well as it is. Being able to play with the original graphics as an option would be the best solution. The only other feature I'd love to see would be support for analog Hall-Effect keyboards. Especially the minigames could use that, and I don't like playing with gamepad on my PC. So please, GOG, add the final true Final Fantasy to your roster!
Show me a laugh that deserves protection more, and I'll punch your jaw off. Sadly, that was only 75 characters, so now know that Lulu is Hot and must sit on my f-

The Remaster absolutely butchered their faces in such an irredeemable way. I want to play this good old game but the current market will not allow me. Thank you so much.

A truly great JRPG classic from an amazing era of gaming! As we've started to see a few other Final Fantasy titles from the same era here on gog I hope we can have this as well. Even better if we can get it with X2 included in their original form and please gog let us choose voice and subtitle language separately without a mod, it would make me happy enough to burst out laughing HA! HA! HA! HA!
This game should be available for anyone who wants to dive into something unique, and of course this is a must-get for a RPG collectionner. Dive into a deep story where you can only compare yourself with all the characters. This is the kind of game you not play...because you LIVE it. A game for those who want to feel something special in a game This is also a game any completionist wants to deal with. There's not that much quests, but each one is an odyssey! You won't be able to do a 100% completion in less than 60 hours. A game for those who wants to have a great amount of time in the same game As a gamer who really enjoy hard moment in games, FFX is a really challenging one! As you finish the main story first, you can redo the gain with a 100% completionist run that leads you to bigger challenges. And if you're not satisfied with it, you can find on the Internet a lot of particular challenges that makes you seeing the game differently. As a solo player, I did it on my own the first time, and it was one of the most inspiring game ever played...for the story and for the characters that I'm sure you will be attached to. Why do I want FFX on GoG ? Simply because...we have to let icons being icons for our generation and let icons becoming icons for the next ones...and GOG is made for this ;)
Those games also need your vote!

FreelancerEight hundred years prior to the start of our story, bitter conflict divided all of mankind. A handful of colonists struck out on their own to begin anew - far away from the Earth and its turmoil. Several ships were launched with enough equipment and supplies to give the hundreds onboard a fighting chance - but since the area around far-off Sirius had never been surveyed, no one really knew what to expect. What they found was a new frontier of free-flowing natural resources, unexplored territories, great wonders and lurking dangers. Each ship, representing the clusters of people and their earthly place of origin, settled into different parts of the galaxy pre-selected by their ship-board computer to give them the best chance of survival. Life was hard in the beginning, but over the 800 years the different colonies prospered and expanded their territories, claiming more and more systems for their own. Survival and propagation eventually led to growth and profit as each of the colonies developed specialties and fostered commerce. As the colonies grew and time passed their connections with their roots on Earth dwindled and they lost their memories of the conflicts of the past. Soon their attention was dominated by new, more immediate conflicts. Feelings of lost ancestral connection spurred anachronism in the look of the great cities, and created a somewhat distorted image of each colony's cultural heritage. In the ever-expanding outer edge of the territories, frontier lawlessness prevailed. The Houses: Each shipboard colony that left Earth carried some memory of its origins in its name. The Liberty carried Americans, The Bretonia flew from The United Kingdom and surrounding territory, The Kusari from Asia, and the Rheinland launched with Germanic cargo. As each ship settled and colonies began to expand, they knew little about each other and their advancing development. Finally, little by little, the individual colonies found each other and began to set up trade routes to link their systems for commerce and solidarity. Today, with each colony firmly rooted in its respective corner of the galaxy, the colonies rely heavily on each other for trade and industry but also compete for resources and new territories in the Border Worlds. The colonies mandate member governments in "The New Alliance" within the Sirius sector. To control conflicts, each colony has forged alliances and treaties with others as they have grown. Competition remains fierce, however. Struggles rage for supremacy in business, commerce, resources, power and control. There can be tenuous peace between colonies' political agendas, but the grabs for holdings constantly unsettle the volatile frontier.

Black & White 2
Black & White 2In the game, the player takes the role of a god called from the void (nothingness) to help those who invoked them. However, the player is not an omnipotent style god, but rather a god who rises and falls with his believers and the player must help develop their nature according to their good or evil desires. The player also has a creature, their physical representation in the world, which takes the form of an anthropomorphic ape, lion, wolf, turtle, cow, or tiger. Its physical manifestation can grow to an immense size, and adopt a good or evil persona separate of the player's. They develop their character as the player rewards or punishes their actions. In addition to the god simulation and city-building elements introduced in the original Black & White, Black & White 2 also features elements of real-time strategy gameplay, with the addition of controllable warfare and fighting units.
