The perfect sequel to a masterpiece of a game. BFME2 was an incredible game that improved on almost every aspect of its already excellent predecessor. Base building, character creation, all-new factions, a unique story expanding on the works of Jackson and Tolkien, to name a few. This game, along with the expansion The Rise of the Witch-king, offered LOTR fans a new perspective on the events that took place in the LOTR trilogy, depicting the war between the alliance of elves and dwarves and the forces of evil that took place in the northern regions of Middle-earth, as well as a glimpse into the past of Middle-earth with the conflict between Angmar and Arnor in RotWK, which took place some 1500 years before Frodo's journey. It is an indcrdibly addictive game that allows players to recreate epic battles only mentioned in the Appendices and immerse themselves back in the incredible world of Tolkien's works. This is a game that should be preserved at all costs for everyone to enjoy, and an example of how to create great game adaptations.Czembro

When i was in my early 20ties i remember spending time looking online for RTS games that i had missed out on either because i was very young when they came out or i missed them as i stooped played pc games in my mid to late teens to spend time with ppl outside. But i wanted to play pc games again in my early 20ties so i spent quit sometime trying to look for games (think the year was around 2011) This game was one of the ones i found that i really liked the look and feel of and the fact that it was about lord of the rings that was a big hit with me in my early teens when the movies came out made it all the better. So i went to amazon and bought a collectors set with the first game and the 2st game + exp and i still have it to this day (I'm 35 atm) It would be great if the series would get released on GoG so that other people can get a chance to play this great series seeing as the only way now days is buying it from other ppl and maybe some other way. But i really don't understand how this great series of games still to this day is not released online for ppl to play and buy. There is great money to be made here and a great time to be had as well.
it's 2006 14 years old me walking by the equivalent local Blockbuster store in Greece and see by accident this game I already love the movies and it said eh why not let's try it I immediately fell in love with this game and I remember playing it and showing it to my friends in the video Cafe and they told me like about steam that you can count hours I play this game from 2006 up to 2013 and I can confidently say that I have over 20,000 hours but sadly I never had anyone to play with I was only playing against bots my favorite faction was, of course, the Dwarfs. I don't want to sound selfish but this game has to be prioritized by all others we have to have the original copy of this game before they try to make a remaster or a remake and basically do cash grabs we have to make so that everybody knows about this voting system in GOG guys please try to share this voting poll.

I played this game so much back in the day. Loved the campaigns and played so much skirmish. One of my favorite things to do would be messing around with the hero creator. So real good memories with this one. I would love to see this come back to a store front so other people can enjoy it.
This one is a must, my very first RTS, and a beatiful one, I was in love with this game and played it over and over, alone, cause i did not have internet connection at that time.
Although the first iteration was way more immersive for me (probably because it carried some movie memories). This one had way more interesting mechanics, monsters and stories and allowed to dive into the world of books. Really enjoyed it!

After achieving great success with the first game, it brought new features and brought the series to the top. It was the best game in the LOTR series. There is no game as good as this in the RTS genre. It is a game that I still enjoy playing. It is the game where you can experience the Lord of the Rings war and action at its best.
We can't wait to play this game again. It should be re-released and developed as soon as possible.Perfect movie-like adventures await us.

A true sequel worthy of the original and improving several aspects of the first game, its sequel is as good as the original game with the mods getting even better.
Those games also need your vote!

Black & White 2
Black & White 2In the game, the player takes the role of a god called from the void (nothingness) to help those who invoked them. However, the player is not an omnipotent style god, but rather a god who rises and falls with his believers and the player must help develop their nature according to their good or evil desires. The player also has a creature, their physical representation in the world, which takes the form of an anthropomorphic ape, lion, wolf, turtle, cow, or tiger. Its physical manifestation can grow to an immense size, and adopt a good or evil persona separate of the player's. They develop their character as the player rewards or punishes their actions. In addition to the god simulation and city-building elements introduced in the original Black & White, Black & White 2 also features elements of real-time strategy gameplay, with the addition of controllable warfare and fighting units.

As the player progresses, his troops are equipped with weapons from "crysknives" to atomics, tap into Paul's latent psychic powers, and get acquainted with such characters from the book as Chani and Liet-Kynes.
