If France lose, that's not impossible. But never ever had I thought it would be 4-0.... It's such an ugly win.

Yeah, what I feared, France didn't show up for this game.
I mean, both teams are playing with their subs, the notable exception being Mbappe who obviously wants the top goalscorer award, but he's also the only one who bothers to play, and France's defenders in particular are already on vacation, while England's subs seem to want to make use of the opportunity to show what they can do.

Yep, France decided to show up for the second half. And England are shaking in their boots again, like it was at the end of the match with Argentina, just that now it started 20 mins earlier.

I think what worked against France was scoring that third goal right before the commercial (pardon, "hydration") break, which offered England the opportunity to calm down and reset just then.

And yeah, expect quite the opposite in the final, a highly tactical and cautious match, with Spain relying on their ironclad defence, both teams good at holding the ball...

It was much better than Argentina vs England match.
1-0 for 85 minutes and 2 goals in last 5 minutes.

England players are young and full of energy compared to France. The hat trick goal was a nice shot

Your logic is sound and would have persuaded me otherwise.
On paper, France is much superior than England's team and I fell for it!
