One of the first games I played not on a Nintendo console that I never got to finish and really want to. This game totally deserves a remake like Resident Evil and Silent Hill got.

I grew up playing classic survival horror like Resident Evil and I played the sequel and I loved it the mix of survival horror and RPG was wonderful the only thing was that we never had the first instalment in the UK, square has to give us either a remaster or a remake or better yet, both😁 but mostly on GOG

I would like to see this game as it never got released in the UK . There was an incident in either the UK or Europe when an audience were burned alive in a fire and at the time ,they thought it would be incentive to release the game here . Its been many years now , so hopefully it shouldn't be as bad . Hopefully people wont see the sequence as intentionally trying to upset. Heck theres a sequence in Evil West of people being burned alive in a church , so this sequence shouldn't be as bad as that . Hope it gets a release on GOG .

What can I say! This game... a very jewel of horror survival , My brother put me to play when i was 6. I n fact we would play this at midnights. The first cinematic of the rat mutation was really jumpscare. PE has the perfect field, OST and horrific creatures that makes it all an endless horror survival jewel. Aya Brea deserves a very returnal. And let´s make it happen GOG!!

played it on the simulator,Superb ambience. The combat system that gave me a headache at first, but I gradually liked the game during the play, the story is very deep, and I really want to experience this incredible game again on GOG, and it also carries a lot of memories for me.

When I was 14 or 15 this was one of the scariest games to me, purely because of the body horror, but I loved everything about it. Especially the music. Genuinely hope to see this on GoG.

This was the game that cemented gaming for me, I played this and the 2nd multiple times. The soundtrack is so good and the game play and story were amazing. I would love to have this game on GOG to share it with my younger family members and just to play it again, an again.

Ergeben hat sich Parasite Eve während der preproduction zu Final Fantasy VII, welches ursprünglich ebenfalls in New York spielen sollte. die Idee wurde dafür zwar verworfen, allerdings wurde dieses Setting zu seinem ganz eigen Spiel, welches ein echtes Meisterwerk darstellt. Geniale Story, gut geschriebene Charaktere in einem genialen Mix aus Rollenspiel und Horror-Flair, perfektioniert durch einen imposanten Soundtrack. Fanfact: Ein zweiter durchlauf lohnt sich im New Game+ defenitiv, denn erst dort wird das Chrysler-Building freigeschaltet, nach dessem bezwingen ein neues Ende wartet. Ich habe damals geliebt in diese Welt zu versinken und da es leider den deutschen Markt auch nie erreicht hat, halte ich es um so mehr für wichtig, dieses Meisterwerk mehr Menschen zugänlich zu machen, anstatt es weiter im PS1 Knast verrotten zu lassen, danke!

FreelancerEight hundred years prior to the start of our story, bitter conflict divided all of mankind. A handful of colonists struck out on their own to begin anew - far away from the Earth and its turmoil. Several ships were launched with enough equipment and supplies to give the hundreds onboard a fighting chance - but since the area around far-off Sirius had never been surveyed, no one really knew what to expect. What they found was a new frontier of free-flowing natural resources, unexplored territories, great wonders and lurking dangers. Each ship, representing the clusters of people and their earthly place of origin, settled into different parts of the galaxy pre-selected by their ship-board computer to give them the best chance of survival. Life was hard in the beginning, but over the 800 years the different colonies prospered and expanded their territories, claiming more and more systems for their own. Survival and propagation eventually led to growth and profit as each of the colonies developed specialties and fostered commerce. As the colonies grew and time passed their connections with their roots on Earth dwindled and they lost their memories of the conflicts of the past. Soon their attention was dominated by new, more immediate conflicts. Feelings of lost ancestral connection spurred anachronism in the look of the great cities, and created a somewhat distorted image of each colony's cultural heritage. In the ever-expanding outer edge of the territories, frontier lawlessness prevailed. The Houses: Each shipboard colony that left Earth carried some memory of its origins in its name. The Liberty carried Americans, The Bretonia flew from The United Kingdom and surrounding territory, The Kusari from Asia, and the Rheinland launched with Germanic cargo. As each ship settled and colonies began to expand, they knew little about each other and their advancing development. Finally, little by little, the individual colonies found each other and began to set up trade routes to link their systems for commerce and solidarity. Today, with each colony firmly rooted in its respective corner of the galaxy, the colonies rely heavily on each other for trade and industry but also compete for resources and new territories in the Border Worlds. The colonies mandate member governments in "The New Alliance" within the Sirius sector. To control conflicts, each colony has forged alliances and treaties with others as they have grown. Competition remains fierce, however. Struggles rage for supremacy in business, commerce, resources, power and control. There can be tenuous peace between colonies' political agendas, but the grabs for holdings constantly unsettle the volatile frontier.
