Argentina played so dirty it was embarrassing to see, yesterday's was victory for football honestly, and the biggest proof you can get that you don't need a ton of stars to win a world cup, just a good plan and teamwork (of course talent does help)

But the spanish selection is pretty scary, I can see them winning again in 2030 if the youngest continue to grow and Rodri, Fabian etc are capable of one last fight

Not defending either side but neither side was innocent regarding dirty plays.
Early 30-40 minutes into the game, I saw Spain player run jab Messi in the back spine with their elbow.
The man is 39 years old, and fragile, leave him alone :(
This was also before the clusters of penalties from Argentina and their tit-for-tat that I had witnessed.
Yes, Argentina player subsequently hit that guy in return in the back.
And later, a Spanish player using culturally inappropriate insults when talking with Messi.

The Spirit of Football everyone haha.

Japan's football team also did an excellent job. Looking forward to seeing them play again!
Are you from Japan? I was meaning to ask some questions but your PM is friends only. Sent you an invite.

I'm from the UK originally, I just live here.

Japan did their usual thing of crushing the group stage then underperforming in the knockouts - they should have beaten a very average Brazil side but maybe were intimidated a bit by Brazil's reputation.
I see Trump's attempt to upstage the finals backfired bigtime.
Ant the head of FIFA is incredibly corrupt. What is it with FIFA that they cannot seem to fins any way to keep from getting corrupt people in charge?

"Well you guys jabbed messi once so it's a tie" thankfully everyone with eyes saw what the argentinians did

Also he's one of the most overprotected football players ever, just look in his general direction the wrong way and the ref will call a foul
